Upfront Diagnostics, a leading provider of innovative diagnostic solutions, has been awarded £500,000 in funding from SBRI Healthcare to support the commercialisation of its groundbreaking product, LVOne.
LVOne is a novel diagnostic tool that has the potential to revolutionise stroke care by enabling identification patients who are eligible for treatment anywhere in minutes. This award will support a major project to generate real-world evidence for supporting the NHS adoption of LVOne.
The project will focus on three key areas:
Barriers and facilitators to LVOne’s implementation in the real world
Accuracy in identifying patients who are eligible for treatment, beyond just their clinical condition
Health economics, exploring cost-effectiveness and outcomes
Upfront Diagnostics is excited to partner with Newcastle University, Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria, NEAST, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Northumbria University, and Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria.
